English Oak and bog oak. Oiled finish

For St Mary and St Nicolas Parish Church, Spalding in Lincolnshire.

2005.

This small altar is one of three items of liturgical furniture provided for this wonderful space by my workshop. A Bishops chair and lectern make up the group. The oak is from a local source, the bog oak is indicative of the fens in which the church sits.
