On entering the Gallery through the garden courtyard you will discover the best of English Contemporary Crafts ­ furniture, pottery, wooden boxes, mirrors, and more. Spend time browsing before viewing the upstairs workshop, home to Lincolnshire’s award winning craftsman.

Furniture making has been a life long passion for Deryck Gilham.

Deryck Gilham set up the furniture making workshop in 1975, utilising the former 19th century builders stable and carpenters workshop. He designs and makes both fitted and free standing contemporary furniture to commission.
Deryck uses only wood from sustainable sources and brings out the natural beauty of wood in his designs, wood is never stained but finished with only clear lacquers, waxes and oils.
The principal aims are to produce exceptional original furniture to commission using traditional construction methods.
